Applied Project: Mastering Storytelling Fundamentals

This project involved designing a Coursera module titled Mastering Storytelling Fundamentals, developed as part of my Introduction to Learning Experience Design course. Over the course of several months, I designed this module with a thematic focus on foundational concepts in narrative structure, such as plot and characterization. I experimented with generative AI tools to support the prototyping and revision process and used learner personas to anchor my design decisions in the needs, motivations, and contexts of real-world educators.

These artifacts represent the design process behind Mastering Storytelling Fundamentals. They include scaffolded learning objectives, a learner persona, assessment designs, AI-generated instructional content, and the integration of Gamut tools. Together, they demonstrate how I applied backward design, learner-centered principles, and generative technologies to create an accessible, engaging experience for adult educators exploring storytelling.
