Hello! I appreciate your time in visiting my website. I wear many hats in the world of words. As a fiction writer, educator, translator, and a PhD researcher in comparative literature at the University of Michigan my work is all about exploring the fascinating crossroads where writing, knowledge, and the transformation of our reading experiences into self-expression intersect. This, in essence, is a blend of translation, literary criticism and creative writing. My journey kicked off with an MFA in Spanish Creative Writing from the University of Iowa, where I meticulously honed my storytelling skills and even served as the editor in chief of Iowa Literaria.

My short stories and essays have journeyed far and wide, gracing the pages of literary magazines in Mexico, the USA, the UK, and Spain. I'm also a regular contributor to one of the most important Spanish speaking cultural magazines in USA, Suburbano. In 2021, I had the pleasure of seeing my collection of short stories, Texarkana come to life, thanks to the fine folks at Sudaquia Editores in New York. I currently call Ann Arbor home, where I'm hard at work writing an intergeneric dissertation titled Flashes of Essayism. Join me on this literary and scholarly adventure – there's much more to come.
