Fluency Building in Immersive Learning
This project reflects a self-directed professional development effort beyond the scope of my LXD residency. I enrolled in EDUC 618: Educational Applications of Augmented and Virtual Reality to build foundational knowledge of immersive tools and explore their pedagogical potential. Alongside the course, I completed VR training with Creative Studios, co-facilitated a VR workshop for U-M Human Resources, and participated in a 360° VR production session during the Spark Festival of Learning. These experiences expanded my fluency with XR technologies and prepared me to support immersive learning initiatives at the Center for Academic Innovation.

These three artifacts represent a multifaceted exploration of immersive learning, developed across academic, professional, and community-based learning spaces. Each artifact captures a distinct angle of engagement with VR: designing inclusive learning activities (Artifact 1), facilitating professional training using immersive tools (Artifact 2), and acquiring hands-on production skills in 360° video (Artifact 3). Together, they chart my evolving fluency in extended reality (XR) technologies
