Designing for Accessibility
This project involved transforming slide decks from an Environmental Economics course into accessible PDFs. I revised two presentations—one on the Contingent Valuation Method and another on Non-Market Valuation related to the BP Oil Spill—using accessibility tools and techniques to meet universal design standards. My role focused on removing unnecessary content, organizing reading order for screen readers, and running accessibility checkers. This work gave me hands-on experience with practical accessibility techniques and helped me better understand how small design decisions can impact how learners access and navigate content.
